Ruth Suehle to hold keynote!

We are thrilled to announce Ruth Suehle as a keynote speaker at Berlin Buzzwords 2026!

In her keynote “Building Resilience: The Next Decade of Open Source”, Ruth will explore how open source – after more than 25 years of becoming the backbone of modern digital infrastructure – can remain strong in the years ahead. As new regulations, evolving cybersecurity requirements, contributor burnout, and stagnant corporate participation put pressure on the ecosystem, Ruth will ask what it will take to sustain open source beyond code alone.

Her talk will look at resilience as something built by people and communities, connecting the future of open source to questions of sustainability, global policy, security, funding, and community health.

We can’t wait to welcome Ruth on stage and hear her perspective on what the next decade of open source will demand from all of us. If you would like to join us, make sure to get your ticket now!
